My Path to Monday Night Mayhem: Founded the program back in February 2002 while attending Buffalo State College...and what an interesting ride it has been since then...

Origin of "The Big Mosh" nickname: Goes back to the "hallowed halls" of St. Mary's High School...where my former gym teacher (Mark Rzemek) could never pronounce my real last name. He simply shortened it to Mosh-a-lonis, and made it even easier by simply referring to me as "The Big Mosh." The rest is history...

Favorite Wrestlers & Personalities: Hulk Hogan, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, Eric Bischoff, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, CM Punk, "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix, and those are just the tip of the iceberg!

Favorite Interviews, Guests, & Shows On The Mayhem: These are in no particular order, as there are too many to mention: Let's start off with "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan's first-ever MNM appearance, Dave Coulier & Dennis Haskins ("Uncle Joey" & "Mr. Belding") feeling The Mayhem respectively, Jim Kelly being an integral part of our live-remote @ Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant, our live remote from The Detroit Hilton Garden Inn prior to WrestleMania 23 (and inducting our very own Scott Hudson as the first-ever Monday Night Mayhem Hall Of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award winner), The "Merry Mayhem Christmas Spectacular" (w/the late Gary Hart & Bill Mercer), the now "infamous" Dream Reunion II live remote (featuring: The Midnight Express, Chavo "Classic" Guerrero Sr., Marty Jannetty, Virgil asking us "Mayhem...What are the scores?" & a cast of others), reuniting Rob Van Dam & Jerry Lynn together as part of our sixth anniversary special, as well as a Dudley Boyz reunion (Brother Ray, Brother Devon, Spike, & "Sign Guy") as part of our fifth anniversary bash, discussing politics & conspiracy theories with Jesse "The Body" Ventura, the inception of the critically-acclaimed "Noonan Speaks" (w/former WWE Head Of Security & the star of the cult-classic "Super Troopers," Jimmy Noonan), plus having the chance to chat w/some of the biggest/best names in the history of the business (past & present), including: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, J.J. Dillon, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Jim Cornette, Scott Steiner, "The Doctor Of Style" Slick, Booker T, Goldberg, CM Punk, JJ Dillon, Beth Phoenix, & The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky & Lacey Von Erich), Nora "Molly Holly" Greenwald, plus the respective/return appearances going back over the past eight years from: Eric Bischoff, Dixie Carter, The Funks (Dory Funk Jr. & Terry Funk), Jim Ross, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Bret "Hitman" Hart, The Honky Tonk Man, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Konnan, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Chris Jericho, "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan, along with "The Professor" Mike Tenay & Ring Of Honor's Cary Silkin. And add in Nancy O'Dell, Brooke Hogan, Dennis Rodman, Curtis Granderson, Marv Levy, & "Screech" (for good measure), and you have the worlds of professional wrestling, sports, & entertainment at your fingertips, thanks to Monday Night Mayhem!

Favorite Mayhem Trips: Cannot mention just one: WrestleMania XX @ MSG...need I say more, WrestleMania 21 (first trip to California/going "Hollywood"), bringing the kevlar vest to WrestleMania 23 in Detroit, MI (and standing in the middle of the highway in front of an 8 Mile exit sign after a ROH event...just to get a damn picture for myself & Blade), our many treks to Toronto, Ontario (Ring Of Honor's Canadian debut, WWE Unforgiven '06, WWE SummerSlam '04, as well as partaking in some Canadian culture, with Bret "Hitman" Hart's theatre debut & myself/Blade being able to "break bread" with our official Mayhem contest winner, Adrian Vosburg, as part of our exclusive Chris Jericho "North Of The Border" Meet & Greet/VIP Contest -- Being able to give one of Y2J's biggest fans ever the chance to meet him in person was a pretty cool & moving experience), plus our two trips in the summer of 2003 & 2004 to The TNA Asylum in Nashville, TN, being @ The ECW Arena in Philadelphia for the first-time for "November Reign," & returning to my old "stomping grounds" -- bringing former WWE superstar/author, Chris Nowinski, back to my alma mater (St. Mary's High School) to speak in front of the student body. I have been very blessed to travel many places around North America, and many more are to come in the future.

"The Chairman Of The Board" Todd Vincent
(MNM Co-Host)

My path to Monday Night Mayhem: I met Mosh & Blade in college, and we were all classmates at various times. Mosh started the show at the college radio station (91.3 FM WBNY), and I was involved in the College Student Government. As the student body President, I helped to prevent MNM from potentially being thrown off-air after a local promotion came in for an interview...and unexpectedly (to the radio station's management) ran an angle on-air that almost resulted in equipment being seriously damaged. I was able to favorably facilitate the situation on Mosh's behalf, and this is what he is talking about when he says "if it wasn't for Todd, there would be no show today." While I appreciate that, I think he would've found a way of keeping it going anyway. After that, I worked for the Air America Radio Network & The New York Times as an Advertising Executive. On the weekend of WrestleMania XXV, Mosh & I spoke about me doing some occasional on-line columns for the show, which quickly turned into filling in on-air for a few of the fellas (which turned into being a permanent co-host).

Origin of "The Chairman of the Board" nickname: One of Mosh's early co-hosts (forget which one) could not make it to the studio for an interview with Raven. Mosh called me up (as my office as Buffalo State College President was three floors up in the same building as the radio station) and asked if I could sit in with him for the interview. I said yes with one condition: since I was "on the clock" as President, I needed to use an alias while on-air. Mosh agreed to it, and hit me on-air with "The Chairman of the Board" as an insider reference to my position at the school. Suffice to say, it stuck...

What I see as my role: I have always been interested in the "how's" & "why's" of the industry. I like to dig below the surface and to pull the curtain back to see what is really going on, by looking at the mechanics of the industry & bringing that perspective to the listeners. I've never been into a "schtick" or a persona. Just like an on-air wrestling personality, I think we connect best to the fans when we are simply ourselves, and our strengths are amplified. I have an in-depth understanding of Media & Creativity (what my Bachelor's & Master's degrees are in) and try to see things from other than a straight-forward fan perspective. I am trying to accommodate those fans who want more than just what they see on TV and will always strive to find or figure out what the real story is for why something is or isn't happening.

My beliefs about interviews & "Insider" info: While we ALL have a curiosity for the truth, most fans also want THE DIRT! While some of us on-air have access to various sources or connections, I believe it is our duty to respect those sources and only report what is pertinent to what is going on publicly or on-air. While I've heard a million stories about sex, drugs, & many personalities living a rock-n-roll lifestyle, I don't believe it is responsible of me to pass those rumors on to the general public. However, if it is something that is public knowledge (ie: The Matt Hardy/Lita or Jeff Jarrett/Kurt Angle stories), then I will have no issue with bringing certain things to light on-air.

And when it comes to interviews, I follow the same code. If there is a sensitive subject that an interviewee doesn't wish to discuss for whatever reason, I am OK with that. We are honored by whatever amount of time they can give us for whatever reason they are on (usually promoting or selling something). Besides, there are other websites that are phenomenal at uncovering those stories that a fan can go to. If you don't know where to go, just look for the websites that post our recaps. All of them do a great job at that type of thing.

Top 20 Favorite Wrestlers & Personalities (in alphabetical order): AJ Styles, Bret Hart, Bruiser Brody, Chris Hero, Chris Jericho, Curt Hennig, Eddie Guererro, Edge, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, Jim Ross, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, The Rock, Samoa Joe, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, & The Undertaker

Favorite Interviews And Why:

(1.) Ice-T/ Coco: Ice-T is one of my favorite all-time media personalities and both him & his wife Coco were very open in discussing everything we brought up, and if you listen to that interview, it just sounds like a group of people hanging out talking & having a fun time doing it which is exactly what it was. And I thought the range of subjects we covered were absolutely incredible & interesting.

(2.) Goldberg: This is what I felt was the most "no holds barred," nothing-held-back interview we did in 2009, and Goldberg was the real deal in discussing his perspectives & feeling about his experiences in the industry.

(3.) "Rowdy" Roddy Piper & Bret "The Hitman" Hart: I am always honored when Legends come on and are willing to discuss either "touchy" or controversial subjects. In this case, it was the Bret Hart/Ric Flair real-life feud. And while these interviews were a few months apart, I enjoyed the fact that were able to get two direct perspectives on the matter, and both held nothing back about what they felt on it.

(4.) Mike Adamle: I must admit, I didn't know what to expect with this one and didn't have high hopes going in, as my only impressions of Mike were based on his on-air WWE character. I remember feeling a complete 180 degree shift in my opinion while we were doing the interview, as Mike was very open and forthright and nothing at all like his "WWE announcer" character. I feel that the WWE could've done much more with Mike and missed the boat with how they ultimately used him.

(5.) Austin Aries: Of all of the interviews I have been a part of, this one shines as an example of someone doing it "Kayfabe" & "in character," while still giving the listener answers that were insightful & revealing enough to make for a compelling interview.

Interview Honorable Mentions: Jim Cornette, Cary Silkin, Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo, & Sean Waltman

Least Favorite And Why: Without naming names, I dislike any interview where someone comes on with the clear and immediate intention of "working" us or stonewalling every question we have. This has happened a handful of times, but I feel those interviews are a waste of everyone's time...especially the listener's. And while these have been rare, they've boiled my blood especially when I go back and re-listen to them afterwards. We're not an "ambush-style" program, and these people have done a disservice to our listener's & themselves in treating us as such. Venting done...LOL!

Top 10 Bands/Artists: Iron Maiden, Public Enemy, Bad Religion, Faith No More, The Tea Party, System of a Down, Queens of the Stone Age/Them Crooked Vultures (Josh Homme), The Dropkick Murphys, Johnny Cash, & Ice-T. Honorable Mentions: Chimaira, Sevendust, Slayer, Alice in Chains, The Rolling Stones, Ice Cube, The Doors, Sepultura/Soulfly (Cavalera Brothers), Mike Ness/Social Distortion, & Nine Inch Nails

Top 10 Television Shows: Lost, The Shield, Arrested Development, 24, Sons of Anarchy, The Simpsons, Cheers, Sopranos, Rescue Me, & Fringe

Top 10 Movies: Braveheart, Fight Club, Bamboozled, The Dark Knight, V for Vendetta, 300, Do The Right Thing, Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy, Wedding Crashers, & Citizen Kane (seriously)

Top 10 Books: Awaken The Giant Within (Tony Robbins), The Watchmen (Alan Moore), Anything (Henry Rollins), Wooden (John Wooden), Fight the Power (the great Chuck D), The Comedy Bible (Judy Miller), Ace on the River (Barry Greenstein), On Becoming a Leader (Warren Bennis), Exploring the Nature of Creativity (J. Michael Fox), & Love All the People (Bill Hicks)
