"Your Home Of Wrestling Radio" is hitting the road to "The Rock 'N' Roll Capital Of The World!" E-mail your comments & questions on the upcoming tri-branded WWE Unforgiven Pay-Per-View to The Mayhem. What will go down on the night of Sunday, September 7th at The Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH. Thanks to RAW General Manager, Mike Adamle, we will see the World Heavyweight Championship be defended in one of the most unpredictable matches in WWE history: a “Championship Scramble” Match. Reigning champion, CM Punk & four former World Champions -- Kane, JBL, "The Animal" Batista, & Rey Mysterio (taking the place of the injured John Cena). SmackDown will also see its own "Championship Scramble" Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. "The Game" Triple H will defend his WWE Title against WWE United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin, Jeff Hardy, Montel Vontavious Porter, & The Brian Kendrick -- and every second will count in this high-stakes bout. Following suit in regards to the decrees made by the General Managers of RAW & SmackDown, on ECW, GM Theodore Long announced that the crown jewel of "The Land Of The Extreme" will be up for grabs in an ECW Championship Scramble Match. The unique match will pit ECW Champion, Mark Henry (w/Tony Atlas), Matt Hardy, The Miz (w/John Morrison), Chavo Guerrero (w/Bam Neely), & Finlay (w/Hornswoggle) against each other. These three groups of five superstars will make history by participating in the first-ever World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Championship, & ECW Championship Scramble Matches, where for 20 minutes, it will be anyone’s game. The rules for the three Scramble Matches are simple: Two randomly selected competitors will start the contest, with a new challenger stepping in every five minutes. If a man scores a pinfall or submission on any other in the match, he is declared the "interim" champion -- though he will not be historically recognized as such. The title can change hands as many times as necessary throughout the bout, and the superstar to earn the final pinfall or submission within the 20-minute time limit will be officially declared the World Heavyweight Champion, WWE Champion, & ECW Champion respectively. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels extended a challenge to Chris Jericho for an Unsanctioned Match at Unforgiven, where neither Y2J, nor the WWE would be liable if HBK were to sustain further injury. Plus, Cryme Tyme will have a chance to make the championship gold around their waists official, as they face off against Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase for the World Tag Team Titles. All of this & so much more will take place in "C-Town," so get ready for the new fall season of The Mayhem to come your way LIVE! |
